Yaiku dongeng sing dadi jejering lakon arupa kewan, kang adat tata carane kaya manungsa.

Yaiku dongeng utawa cerita kang nyritakake bab kepahlawanan.

3. Mithe
Yaiku cerita bab mistik / kepercayaan alam ghaib, utawa cerita sing gegayutan karo dewa-dewi.

4. Legendha
Yaiku dongeng kang gegayutan karo dumadine alam kang ceritane mung digathuk-gathukake.

c. Dongeng  Tangkupan Perahu

ASAL-USULE BLORA
 


Miturut critane rakyat Blora iku dumadi saka tembung belor.Tegese endhut (Lumpur). Tembung belor saya suwe dadi mbeloran lan akhire nganti saiki katelah kanthi sebutan Blora. Yen dirunut kanthi cara etimologi (asal usule tembung) Blora asale saka tembung wai lan lorah.Wai tegese banyu lan lorah tegese jurang utawa lemah endhek (ledhok). Ing basa Jawa aksara w bisa lira liru karo akasara b tanpa ngowahi tegese, saengga jumbuh karo kemajuane jaman mula tembung wailorahdadi bailorah. Saka bailorah dadi balora lan akhire dadi Blora.Cethane, jeneng Blora iku tegese lemah endhek mbanyu. Bab iki jumbuh karo lemah ngendhut.

 

 Ing abad XVI Blora kabawah wewengkon kadipaten Jipang. Wektu iku Jipang isih kabawah Kasultanan Demak. Adipati Jipang sinebut Arya Penangsang kang kondhang aran Arya Jipang. Dene panguwasane nganti tekan Pati, Lasem, Blora lan Jipang dhewe. Nanging sawise Jaka Tingkir (Sultan Hadiwijaya)  nglenggahi dhampar kasultanan Demak, punjering papentrahan kaboyong menyang Pajang. Kanthi mangkono Blora kawengku / klebu wewengkon Pajang.





Kraton Pajang ora suwe amarga ditelukake Kraton Mataram kang punjere ing Kutha Gedhe Ngayogyakarta. Nalika iku Blora kalebu tlatah Mataram sisih wetan / Brang Wetan. Nalika jaman Pakubuwana I (1704-1719) tlatah Blora diparingake putrane  kang sinebut Pangeran Blitar kanthi gelar Adipati. Nalika Mataram ana ing panguwasane Paku Buwana II ( 1727-1749) dumadi pambrontakan kang dipandhegani dening Mangku Bumi lan Mas Said. Mangku Bumi kasil ngregem Sukawati, Grobogan, Demak, Blora lan Ngayogyakarta. Wusanane Mangku Bumi dadi raja ing Ngayogyakarta.



 Wiwit jaman Pajang nganti jaman Mataram  Kabupaten Blora minangka laladan kang penting tumrape peprentahan pusat kerajaan, amarga Blora kondhang alas jatine. Blora wiwit owah setatus dadi daerah kabupaten  nalika dina Kemis Kliwon tanggal 2 Sura tahun Alib 1675 utawa 11 Desember 1749 Masehi kang nganti saiki sinebut minangka ‘HARI JADI KABUPATEN BLORA’. Dene bupati kang pisanan yaiku Wilatikta. Mula dadia pangeling-eling wae tumrap para siswa, yen saben tanggal 11 Desember iku ing kutha Blora asring dianakake Kirab Budaya Kabupaten Blora kanggo mengeti dumadine kutha Blora.

 Tuladhane Legendha 2 :

ASAL-USULE NAMA GAGAK RIMANG

 
            Ana ing wewengkon Blora  nama Gagak Rimang wis ora aeng maneh. Ana salah sawijining Stodio Radio kanthi Nama Gagak Rimang. Malah terminal bis ing kabupaten Blora uga diwenehi nama Gagak Rimang.
Tembung Gagak Rimang iku sejatine nama sawijining jaran kang dadi tunggangane Bupati Jipang Panolan yaiku ADIPATI HARYA PENANGSANG.  Dene jaran nganti diwenehi jeneng Gagak Rimang iku ana caritane.
            Ana sawijining nom-noman kang aran Riman, Riman iki putrane Soreng Pati panggedhe saka Desa Kasiman.  Ing sawijining dina Riman ngajak lelungan Rara Swari kekasihe, ya putrane Soreng Rana (panggedhe saka desa Bathokan) kang isih sapaguron karo Soreng Pati. Sawise Riman lan Rara Swari lunga, Siman lan ramane Soreng Rangkut panggedhe saka desa Sambeng teka ing Bathokan. Soreng Rangkut uga isih sapaguron karo Soreng Rana yaiku meguru bebarengan  marang Ki Gedhe Senori. Wigatine rembug Siman lan ramane nembung marang Soreng Rana yen arep nglamar marang putrine yaiku Rara Swari. Nanging wis kebacut lunga karo Riman. Wusanane Siman nggoleki Rara Swari lan Riman.
 

Nalika lunga saka Bathokan Riman lan Rara Swari numpak jaran  duweke Riman. Jaran iki ulese ireng mulus. Amarga pancen ora ana sedya kang enggal dituju,  mula lakune jaran mung satitahe. Ora dinyana lan dikira ing burine wis kasusul tekane Siman kang nggoleki kekarone. Siman muntab atine meruhi Riman karo Rara Swari lagi mlaku bebarengan. Ringkesing cerita Siman lan Riman wusanane dadi bandayuda utawa perang tanding. Riman tumekane pati amarga Siman kabiyantu dening bapake. Semono uga nalika Soreng Pati meruhi anake mati, dheweke ora narimakake, wekasane Siman uga mati ing tangane Soreng Pati. Nalika lagi perang rame jarane Riman mbedhal lunga saparan-paran.
      Kocap kacarita nalika samono Harya Penangsang lan Patihe, kang asma Mentaun nembe bebadra (mlaku-mlaku) ana laladan Jipang-Panolan  ing sisih lor, ana ing satengahing ara-ara kang jembar lan nedheng-nendhenge thukul suket kang ijo, ing kono Harya Penangsang priksa ana sawijing jaran kang lagi nyenggut suket. Banjur jaran iku mau diparani nanging ora mlayu  malah  nyedhaki marang Harya Penangsang, lulut ora rewel, malah kaya-kaya jaran mau kepingin ditumpaki dening sang Adipati. Sanalika Sang Adipati pindhah anggone nitih jaran. Ana ing sadhuwure gegere jaran iki sang Adipati Harya Penangsang malah tambah katon gagah lan merbawani, mula ing  batin Sang Adipati kepingin weruh sapa sejatine sing kagungan jaran iki. Kanggo pangeling-eling ing papan kang dadi panggonane jaran kang ireng kaya manuk gagak mau, katelah desa Gagakan.
            Sawetara wektu sang Adipati nggoleki sapa kang duwe jaran mau, tindake arah  mangetan, lan ngalor, wekasane kepethuk wong papat kang lagi padha meneng mikirake kadadeyan kang mentas wae kelakon, wong papat mau yaiku Ki Gedhe Senori, Soreng Pati, Soreng Rangkut, lan Soreng Rana. Katelu Soreng mau lagi wae padha ditinggal mati putrane dhewe-dhewe.  Nalika weruh jarane Sang Adipati, Soreng Pati langsung muntab, ngadeg  lan nyerang marang Harya Penangsang kang dikira ngrampok jarane anake. Sanajan kabyantu dening sadulure sapaguron kabeh, tetep ora bisa ngalahake Harya Penangsang. Kanthi ngobahahe tangane wae wong telu  mau wis kontal.
            
 
Wekasane padha mangerteni sapa kang ana ing ngarepe kuwi yaiku Gusti bupatine dhewe. Nalika Harya Penangsang  ndangu sapa kang kagungan jaran iki, sanalika dijawab bebarengan “ Punika Turangganipun Riman.  Krungu jawaban  kaya mengkono iku Sang Adipati kalegan atine. Mula  jaran kang saiki dadi titihane iku diwenehi jeneng “GAGAK RIMAN”. Amarga jaran kasebut duwe ules ireng kaya manuk gagak lan sing  duwe Riman. Ana ing sabanjure nyebut gagak riman kuwi rada kangelan wekasane akeh kang nyebut “GAGAK RIMANG”.
